Did you know that what we call "french fries" actually originated in Belgium? I've never been to Belgium and while I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it, I've never really considered traveling there either. After a bit of preliminary research, however, it seems that Belgium would be a great way to experience a more authentic Europe without the onslaught of tourists that more popular cities like Paris, London, and Barcelona experience.

Oh I would so much like to go here! I went to a Belgium restaurant this weekend and had moules and frites!
I agree I never considered taking a trip to Belgium either, but looking at pictures of the great city I would love to exlpore there, and I heard the food is amazing! :)

You would LOVE Brussels! The city square is breathtaking and you can't take one step without buying and destroying a waffle, and then buying another right after. Followed by Frites! One of my favorite cities for sure!

Belgium looks like a gorgeous place to travel! I have never thought of traveling there either, but I sure am now.
